Last weekend we were able to attend the Wesleyan Married Couples Retreat. It was a wonderful weekend! We were able to spend time with old friends and meet some really neat new couples. I (Amanda) was really excited for Kyle to meet our speakers, Brandon and Jennifer Bruce, who were also my youth pastors. They hit it off well and I am sure we will be making a visit to Lansing, MI sometime!!!
The committee planned some really neat activities. Kyle was able to play in a 3 on 3 basketball tournament with Brandon and couple other guys. Here are a few pictures of my handsome husband in action.
Saturday evening was the luau and "Date Night". The food was good at the luau and we had fun dressing up for it!
For our date we went bowling and then caught the end of the IWU Baseball game.
Definitely one of the highlights was hearing Brandon and Jen speak. I have known them for a long time but we were able to get to know them as married couples rather than youth and youth leader. They both shared some pretty awesome tips for marriage! We both learned a lot. 
We had a lot of fun at the retreat and look forward to other retreats! We learned things about each other and ways to enhance our marriage!

Yeah! I love seeing you guys with Brandon and Jen! Wish you all lived closer to each other so you could hang out more.
